All animals deserve to be wanted… I wanted to give the spotlight to some that haven’t often gotten it.

For so long, I measured my worth by what I could shrink, by how little space I could take up. But nature has never asked the birds to be smaller, only to be strong enough to fly. Recovery taught me that freedom isn’t in control—it’s in trust. Like a bird riding the wind, I am learning to trust my body, to trust life, and to let go.
