The sea and the animals that live there do not shrink themselves to be more acceptable. The sea crashes, swells, and stretches endlessly, unbothered by how it is perceived. It has no need to justify its presence, no urge to fit within boundaries that were never meant for it. I am learning from the waves—to exist fully, without apology, without trying to take up less space.

My body is not something to diminish or mold into someone else’s idea of beauty; like the ocean, I am meant to move, expand, and take up the space I need without shame.
