Trees are strong, slow moving, slow growing, and resillient. Perhaps though the coolest part about them is they have the ability to tell time and show us our past.

Tree rings can take us back in time and reveal what the world was like at a time when we were not around… some of the oldest trees in the world — the bristlecone pines — are some of my favorites. Gnarled old trees are beautiful, and I hope you agree!
